EPPO European Plant Protection Organization
An intergovernmental organization responsible for international cooperation in plant protection in the European and Mediterranean region. Under the International Plant Protection Convention, EPPO is the regional organization for Europe. Founded in 1951, EPPO has grown from 15 original members to today's 43 member states, including nearly every country in the European and Mediterranean region.
NAPPO North Americian Plant Protection Organization
NAPPO, a Regional Plant Protection Organization of the International Plant Protection Convention, coordinates the efforts among Canada, the United States and Mexico to protect their plant resources from the entry, establishment and spread of regulated plant pests, while facilitating intra/interregional trade.
